GRYM is combining with the Grace Chapel Youth Group to serve in New Orleans with Kaleo Missions

...and you can help make that possible!

What is Kaleo Missions?

Kaleo Missions facilitates urban mission trips at locations around the U.S. GRYM first partnered with them in 2010 and continued to return yearly for several years after.

Kaleo's impact on their sites is impressive! Read more about their values and strategies here:

Who Is Going?

This mission trip is for high schoolers: students who have completed 8th-12th grades.

The mission team will consist of students and adults from the Garden Ridge Youth Ministry and the Grace Chapel Youth Ministry (in Cumming, GA, led by Rocky Wyatt, brother of GRYM youth minister, Trane Wyatt).

How to Contribute.

Besides the money each participant has paid, they need to raise $480 more to cover the cost of the trip.

Their funds are due in the middle of May, but they are hoping to be done by the end of April.

If you would like to help the participants achieve their fundraising goal, you can do that in several ways:

1 | Donate online.

CLICK HERE to go to the giving site of the Garden Ridge church of Christ.

In Fund, select "Youth Missions"

In Memo, put New Orleans + the name of the participant.

2 | Donate by check or cash.

Make checks to Garden Ridge church of Christ, and put New Orleans + the participant's name in the memo.

If cash, attach a note indicating which participant the donation is intended for.

3 | Hire a team member.

Notify Trane ( of jobs you'd like done, and we can arrange for one or more team members to do it. Payment can be a contribution to the mission trip, paid via the online or check/cash instructions above.

4 | Watch for fundraisers.

There may be fundraising activities and services the team does as a group. You can participate in those, as well.

Thanks in advance for your interest in helping these teens experience mission work and Christ-like service in the New Orleans area!
